Community Garden
St. Vital Agricultural Society (SVAS) offers "Gardening on the Greenway". The Sesquicentennial Community Garden and Manitoba 150/COVID-19 Relief Community Garden are located north of Bishop Grandin Blvd. off the corner of St. Michael Road/Glen Meadow Street. The gardens, situated on City of Winnipeg property, are operated and maintained by SVAS.
The gardens offer the opportunity for all ages to grow their own vegetables, herbs and flowers. There is a choice of a half plot (10' x 20') or full plot (20' x 20') for a yearly rental fee. Annual fees include a membership to the Agricultural Society, an onsite water source and annual tilling.
